Why I Became a Teacher:
My life interestingly enough has evolved in a full circle. In my twenties I was working several jobs. My favorite, however, was a recreation leader for Long Beach City College. During the summers we ran sports camps for kids and I was in charge of the tennis classes. At some point I thought "hey" I'm pretty good with kids maybe I could be doing better. Thus, I went back to college, got my degree and my credential. After working several years in middle school I was picked up by Carson High; a couple more years passed, and the position as tennis coach opened up for me as well. Now my professional life feels whole and complete. I have the best of both worlds, academics and athletics.
