Scuba diving allows me to explore the underwater world, fostering a sense of adventure and tranquility. Working out, particularly through rowing and strength training, keeps me energized and supports my active lifestyle. Cooking is a creative outlet where I experiment with new recipes, often sharing meals with friends and family. Most cherished is playing with my dog, Daisy, whose playful spirit brings daily laughter and warmth to my home.
- Why I Became a Teacher
-
Having grown up in special education, I deeply understand the challenges and triumphs of my students, inspiring me to become a special education teacher. After pursuing accounting and finding it unfulfilling due to its lack of impact on others, I turned to teaching, where I find joy in the fun stories students share and the chance to help them master new concepts, even when they find math difficult. I hope my students develop an appreciation for hard work, dedication, and the two rules I emphasize: respect yourself and respect others, fostering skills and values that extend beyond the classroom.
