Background:
My professional experience in education started as a college chemistry teacher in 2005. In the fall of 2018, I joined the science team at Fleming Middle School and served as Science Department Chair from 2021-2025. I joined the science team at Carson in the fall of 2025. I earned my bachelor’s degree in chemistry and French from SDSU, my doctoral degree in chemistry from ASU (Arizona State), my teaching credential from CSUDH and am certified in Mastery Learning and Grading.
Hobbies and Interests:
My hobbies include hiking, paddle boarding and indoor rock climbing. I also enjoy visiting theme parks with my family in my free time.
Why I am Passionate About Teaching:
I am passionate about sharing my of love of science and chemistry with the next generation.
