I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Additionally, I earned my teaching credential and Master's at the University of Southern California.
Hobbies and Interests:
I enjoy reading, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures. I am also a foodie who enjoys local eats whenever I can.
Why I Became a Teacher:
Ever since I was young, I have had a passion to work with children. From helping my younger sibling and cousins with homework to volunteering in various classrooms, I realized how meaningful teaching and supporting students' learning could be. As a former English Learner, I was inspired by the teachers who supported and encouraged me, while nurturing my love for reading and the confidence to challenge myself. Their impact inspired me to teach English and create an inclusive, supportive classroom where students can connect with the subject and grow academically and personally.
